Hello Members:
On Friday, August 9th, our club will be participating in a school supply drop off event at Shults Ford in Wexford. This will be part of an effort to support one of our two All Ford Show Charities for this year, the Education Partnership.
We ask that if you plan on joining us that morning for the drive-through-drop-off, that you purchase, in advance, school supplies for donation. Some suggestions for supply purchases appear below:
- pencils
- pens
- notebooks
- markers (8 pack)
- crayons (24 pack)
- dry-erase markers
- scissors
- copy paper (8.5" x 11" white)
- headphones
- colored pencils
- filler paper
- reusable water bottles
- backpacks (empty)
Optional Supply List:
- Boxes of Tissues
- Clorox Wipes
- Hand Sanitizer
- Paper Towels
The Education Partnership doesn't suggest any amount to be spent, as all donations are appreciated.
For the Thursday, August 14th event, those participating can reach out to me and let me know if you'll be attending at president@gpmc.org.
Bubba and Melanie from the Bubba Morning Show will be onsite interviewing and mentioning each group that comes through live on their morning radio show! I'm sure there will also be video feeds taking place as well. So, a little PR for our club also!
This event will be live on air from 6:00AM until Noon. The plan for us is to meet off site at The Chadwick in their large parking lot at 10:00 AM which is close to the Shults Ford Wexford location. Once assembled, we will drive as a group to the dealership location.
